Their plush, silky coats and lazy demeanor make the Ragdoll the number one sought-after breed! They are usually tolerable to children and animals, and are often compared to dogs with their friendliness and intelligence. Because they are highly social and very trusting, they are INDOOR cats only and should not be allowed outside unsupervised.

If you are looking for a Ragdoll that is hypoallergenic or doesn't shed, you will not find one here! If you have allergies to cats, you will have allergies to our Ragdolls. Even though Ragdolls do not have an undercoat, they still produce dander and they still shed! Some Ragdolls shed more than others, and all Ragdolls require regular grooming to keep their coats looking their best and to prevent matting. While Ragdolls do not mat as much as some breeds, like Persians, some cats are just prone to it and will require regular brushing. It helps to vacuum frequently to remove loose hair from cat trees and furniture to help prevent the matting in the first place.
